Written for the job, with no page builder or theme, and editable by your client’s team where it changes. Civecon Developments, built with 18th Street, has a careers area the office updates itself.
Shopify shops with a custom front end
Shopify handles the cart and checkout, and the rest of the site follows your design. We built TOSTÉ with KS Design on Next.js, with Sanity for content and Shopify for products.
Rebuilds that keep their URLs in order
We map the old URLs before the build, redirect every one and check Search Console after launch. Here’s how we handle a migration.

- Yes. You keep the client relationship end to end and we deliver under your brand, in your tone, on your timeline. Your client sees your team, and you retain 10% of the care retainer.
- Can our agency outsource web development to you?
- Yes. That is most of what we do: design studios hand us the build and we deliver it under their brand, on their timeline, to their designs. You are outsourcing to one senior developer who has done this under other people’s logos for twenty years, and who is on the call when you want him.
- What can you build for an agency?
- Custom websites to your designs, Shopify shops with a custom front end, and rebuilds of existing sites. TOSTÉ, built with KS Design, runs a Next.js front end with Sanity for content and Shopify for products. We can host and maintain what we build, too.
- What platforms and languages do you work with?
- Next.js, Astro and TypeScript on the front end, Laravel and PHP on the back end, and Shopify for e-commerce. For content we use Sanity for headless builds, Craft CMS, and RefinedCMS, our own CMS built on Laravel. We also connect sites to booking systems.
- Can you take a project when our team is at capacity?
- Yes. Send the brief for the project you can’t fit in, and you get a fixed price and a timeline within two business days.
- Where are you based?
- Christchurch, New Zealand. We work remotely with agencies across New Zealand and Australia.
- Do you work with agencies in Australia?
- Yes. Several of our agency partners are Australian design studios, one of them for more than ten years. The work runs remotely, and we quote and bill in New Zealand dollars.
- How does the referral arrangement work?
- You introduce us and step back. We work with the client under our own name, and you are paid 10% of the build value, shown in the proposal and paid on the client’s deposit.
